  • how do i make an appointment?

    • you can make an appointment by emailing at widowbirdtattooer@gmail.com, or by filling out the form on the Booking page. i answer all emails personally and try to return responses in a couple of days. emailing is the best way to discuss tattoos with me. before making any appointments, i ask a series of questions (i.e. size, placement, measurements, a picture of the area, etc). a deposit is also required before securing an appointment with me. please inform me if you will be traveling in & not local.

 

  • How much is the deposit and how do I pay it if I’m not local?

    • deposits range from $200-250 depending on the project. i will send a square invoice through an email for all deposit payments.

 

  • What’s this deposit for?

    • It secures a design, gets a drawing started, and secures an appointment. this deposit goes toward your tattoo. This is a non refundable deposit, even if you change your mind.

    • consult: if we meet for a consult & you pay a deposit, then change your mind, or for any reason back out, this deposit is non refundable & compensates my time.

 

  • coming from outta town?

    • Please let me know from the start. I do not require an in person consult, but do start up a conversation through emails (size, measurements, placement, and such will all be discussed.)

 

  • do you do color?

    • no. please don’t ask.

 

  • Can I use references for my custom piece?

    • Yes, but try and use real references. Not someone else’s tattoos or google images.

 

  • When will I be able to see the design if it’s a custom piece?

    • I will text a rough pencil drawing days before our appointment. I will go over specifics, if you don’t like it or if we don’t agree on the design, you don’t have to get the tattoo. however, i will keep the deposit to cover the time spent on the drawing. all deposits are non-refundable.

 

  • how much do you charge?

    • I’m $180 an hour. Cash or Credit. i use square so there is a fee.

 

  • What should I bring with me when I get tattooed?

    • I will go over this in our email conversation.

 

  • Do you travel and do conventions ever?

    • I do, and plan to do more in the near future.

 

  • What are you up to now besides tattooing?

    • I am currently working on my collector’s series flower holders.

 

  • online store - what’s the exchange policy?

    • if you ordered the wrong size t-shirt or tank top, please reach out via my general inquiries contact form for an exchange. No refunds or returns. you will be responsible for shipping both ways.

 

  • online store - where do you ship to?

    • I offer free shipping on all orders and only ship within the USA.
