i’m sara mae, also known as the widowbird. i tattoo at my quaint studio
aviarium garden tattoos in the heart of johnson city, tennessee
specializing in blackwork, my dotwork. machine made and handpoked, my tattoos and artwork are influenced by my adoration for patterns, traditional folk art, botany, insects, and just all around love for nature. i tend to be drawn and inspired by many different time periods and find myself intertwining my love for botanicals and patterns. i truly focus a heavy amount of time on my tattoo designs and artwork.
